Tyler Unger is a Communication Designer who thinks talking about himself in third person is stupid and impersonal. Most recently, I've conceptualized and created beautiful glass installations and products for Imagio Glass. I like thinking and making, something I did quite a lot of during my Residency in the Netherlands. My breakfast currently consists of three fried eggs, two sausages, and drip coffee. Some of my further works include branding the 50 block expanse that is the new District Detroit, conceptualizing an autonomous vehicle inclusive mobility system for Northern California, and helping the children of Eugene, OR find something to shout about. My skillset comes The College for Creative Studies where I learned what it meant to be an Art Student. Some days I listen to black metal on the way to work, some days pop music. I take comfort in the small things, like methodically keeping track of every waking hour of the day, or appreciating soft lighting and it’s history. I like books a whole lot and have made a few including Phallacy, a cultural exploration of penis doodling. My passion for the printed letter has even led me to create my own typeface Cherub.
